Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about how she reassures her daughter True about her body image.
The keeping up with the Kardashians star featured on Health magazine cover for their November issue with her three-year-old. Speaking to the magazine, the mother shared incidents of body shame she has experienced in the past.
“As far as the food goes, I had so many problems,” said the 37-year-old.
“It wasn’t from one person, I guess just from the company or the way people criticized my body. So I don’t gamble when it comes to True. She is very tall. People will always say, “She’s so tall. And I’ll say, ‘Oh, she’s so big.’ I try to make them more descriptive. I know what an adult means when they say that, but I don’t want her to misinterpret that, ”she added.
Khloe said that even though her daughter is “really tough,” she tries to “always tell her it’s okay if she’s crying or something’s wrong.”
Khloe has also revealed that she is an ’emotional eater’. “When I was younger and sad, I ate… I almost punished myself for boring or having a bag of crisps. It got so thoughtful. I had tried all diets in the sun… that’s why I yoyoed my whole life – I was always chasing a fad.
Earlier in April, the American socialite shared unedited photos and videos of herself while talking about learning to love herself despite an “unbearable” exam. “This is me and my body untouched and unfiltered… Truly the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment all my life to be perfect and to meet other people’s standards of what I should look like has been too hard. to endure, ”she wrote.
