AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi spoke about the communal conflict that erupted in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, blaming the state government for failing to handle the violence that erupted after a Hindu idol was placed near a dargah.
Owaisi asked Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan if his government would arrest those who were accused of ‘desecrating a mosque’ in Neemuch yesterday, referring to the bulldozer policy in the country.
The AIMIM leader further said that bulldozers are only used against “innocent Muslims” as he recently mocked the conduct of bulldozers in several parts of the country. Taking to Twitter, Owaisi also shared images showing the desecration of the mosque in the city of Madhya Pradesh.
Referring to the clashes that erupted in the state on May 17, Owaisi wrote on Twitter: “Mr @CMMadhyaPradesh, will your government arrest the accused of desecrating a mosque and a Dargah. We know that bulldozers will only be used against innocent Muslims. »

Violent clashes erupted yesterday in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, when a group allegedly placed an idol of Lord Hanuman on the wall of a dargah and a mosque in the area. The row quickly turned violent when two groups clashed in Neemuch, implicating the police.
After clashes broke out in Madhya Pradesh yesterday, incidents of stone throwing and arson were recorded in Neemuch. Authorities decided to impose CrPC Section 144 restraining orders in the town of Neemuch on Monday night after several complaints were filed by police.
According to PTI reports, the two groups involved in the clashes were asked to report to the police control room for questioning, but started throwing rocks at each other and damaging motorbikes. The police had to use large tear gas canisters to defuse the situation.
Senior Congress official Digvijay Singh also criticized the Madhya Pradesh government over the clashes, questioning state police over their inaction during the communal clashes. He further alleged that no arrests have been made in this case so far.
