Born in 1946 and raised in Queens, New York City, American actress and model Barbara Bach was one of the most sought-after models of the 1960s. She was a model in the Eileen Ford Agency in New York and appearing on catalogs as well as on the front pages of a variety of international fashion magazines such as Seventeen, vogue USA, SHE France, Gioia Italy, and figurine Brazil.
Her acting career began in Italy, in which Bach was Nausicaa on Odissea during the year 1968 the eight-hour long television adaptation of the epic poem of Homer The Odyssey directed by Franco Rossi and produced by Dino de Laurentiis.
Bach is most well-known for her performance as Bond actress Anya Amasova in The Spy Who loved My (1977). There are 28 films to her name, and was also featured in a picture of The Playboy the month of January in 1981. She also appeared in a special September 1987 issue about Bond girls.
Bach was married to British music producer Ringo Starr, previously of The Beatles in 1981. They first met in the year 1980 while in the production of Caveman (nineteen eighty one). As per the International Vegetarian Union, they are vegetarians.
