While Rohit Shetty is returning as host this season, fans are divided on the many popular celebrities who will show off their adventurous side on the reality show. Be it Mr. Faisu, Sriti Jha, Rubina Dilaik or Shivangi Joshi, Pratik Sehajpal and Mohit Malik, the creators have managed to get an interesting list of contestants. As these celebs battle their fears as they indulge in some daredevil stunts, host Rohit Shetty revealed that many in the audience feel like they’re just ‘acting’ and that the action-packed stunts are all computer generated.

In a recent conversation with indianexpress.com, the filmmaker said that he is often asked if the stunts shown in Khatron Ke Khiladi are real. “Usually we film the entire show and send the package to the channel. This is the first time that we will go live on television while we are still filming. I have often been asked if the stunts are really real. many ask me ‘CGI kiya hai kya?’. Then I have to explain that ‘yes, every trick is performed by these same contestants.’”

Since there is always a risk involved during filming, we asked them if they have ever been involved in a worrying situation. After a pause, Rohit Shetty He said that throughout his time on the show, they never had a scary moment and thanked his team for taking care of everything diligently. “Of course, the tasks are scary for the contestants, but my team works precisely to avoid any mishap.”

Calling this season a ‘blockbuster’, the director of Singham also revealed that the contestants have set a standard with minimal abortions. As he assembled his crew, we wondered if the actors would also want to do well on the show to impress him and get a role in his movies. “I don’t think so. When I joined, I had already worked with Mugdha Godse on All the Best, Dayanand Shetty had already signed with Singham, and Nikiteen Dheer later worked with me on Chennai Express. But no, they don’t come on the show to audition for me,” he shared with a smile.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 is filming in Cape Town, South Africa and the crew will wrap up filming on July 16. The show will air on July 2 and air every weekend at 9 p.m.
